Seizure of Assets of People Deemed a Threat to the State’s Security
This text enables the government to seize the assets, including real estate property, of individuals accused of crimes against the state’s security, i.e. who fall under the Counterterrorism Law of 2012.

Powers of Judicial Authorities
The President of the Republic
Based on the provisions of the Constitution,
Promulgates the following:
Article 1
Law Enforcement Authorities, in the context of their investigations into crimes against internal or external state security, and the crimes set forth in Law No. 19 of 2012, may make a written request to the Minister of Finance to take the necessary precautionary measures against movable and immovable property belonging to the accused. The Public Prosecutor and investigating judge may, in the course of the proceedings, take such measures against the accused or the defendant, including travel bans, until such time as the case has been settled by a final court ruling.
Article 2
This Legislative Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall be considered effective from the date of issuance.
