The Military Housing Establishment is one of the largest building contractors in Syria. While it is owned by the Ministry of Defence, Milihouse, as the company is better known, carries mostly civilian construction works. Its main clients include other government entities. The company is under sanctions from various western countries, including the United States and the European Union.
