This state-owned company was formerly called the General Company for Roads and Bridges until it was merged in May 2024 with the General Company for Water Projects. The company builds and maintains roads, bridges, railways and silos. It is also in charge of engineering and contracting works in the water sector. It builds irrigation networks and dams, carries land reclamation and sewage treatment projects, among others. Some of its work is subcontracted to private companies.
