A committee of engineers in northern Syria had inspected by the end of May some 33,087 buildings in the rural northern part of the Aleppo governorate, covering 82 cities, towns, villages and settlements. This work comes as part of a comprehensive survey project to help local authorities to decide whether buildings should be demolished or whether they can undergo reinforcement.
